The international tender launched by the ministry
Tunisian Industry and SMEs and the Tunisian Electricity Company and
du Gaz (STEG) was won by “Navera / Engie”, a Moroccan-French consortium
which would have been retained for the realization of the photovoltaic power plant of
Gafsa in Tunisia.
According to the Moroccan website bladi.net which gives
information, for Navera / Engie, it’s about “developing, designing,
finance, build, operate and maintain the photovoltaic power plant
of Gafsa over a period of 20 years from its entry into service. With this
a major project, Tunisia hopes to reach a share of 2030 by 2030
30% renewable energy in national electricity production “.
Continuing its clarifications, the media of the Cherifian kingdom
notes that Nareva and Engie have already collaborated in other actions, notably in
Morocco, among others in the Tarfaya wind farm project, one of the most
