Apple’s Beats brand has launched its new wireless headphones. It would be the Powerbeats 4, with a new design, more minimalist and stylized, although based on the Powerbeats Pro.
These new headphones have been updated in several ways. For example, the battery lasts three hours longer, reaching 15 hours compared to 13 hours for Powerbeats 3. They also have an IPX4 rating of resistance to sweat, water and dust. Also new, they incorporate a connection to Siri, thanks to a quick pairing chip and hands-free voice controls.
According to Beats, this model should sound almost the same as the Powerbeats Pro, which remain among the best wireless on the market in terms of audio quality. And, although similar in design, the main difference between the two is the strap that holds the two headphones behind the head. Definitely a plus for those users who are afraid of losing models like the Pro.
The closure of the cable is made behind the ear, unlike similar models from other brands, and features a directly rounded shape that the previous Beats did not have. The buttons to control them are divided between both sides: on the left handset we find the power one and on the right one a “b” multifunction button, while there are volume controls on both sides.
These headphones are charged with a “lightning” cable that comes built into the box, along with a carry bag. They will be available in black, white and red, although it is not yet known when they can be purchased in Spain. What we do know is that, in the United States, Apple has lowered the price of these audio devices by $ 50: from $ 199 to $ 149. It will be necessary to be patient for your arrival in Spain.
