German parliament adopts 1.1 trillion euro mega-plan

MEPs notably approved new loans amounting to 156 billion euros to support businesses, employees and the healthcare system.


In turn, countries are developing colossal support plans to help their respective economies weather the financial crisis following the pandemic.

This Wednesday, the Bundestag decided to adopt global measures of an amount close to 1.100 billion euros in order to allow the first European economy to fight against the consequences of the health crisis.

156 billion new loans approved

MEPs, scattered around the hemicycle, notably approved new loans amounting to 156 billion euros to support businesses, employees and the health system, as well as hundreds of billions of guarantees for bank loans to businesses .
