This Monday, March 9, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were making their last appearance as members of the royal family to celebrate mass given in honor of the Commonwealth. And they stuck to the bare minimum with Kate and William.
Next March 31, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will officially leave their status as members of the royal family. And they lived this Monday March 9, their very last official appearance for mass celebrated on this commonwealth day. An emotional ceremony for many fans of British royalty, touched by the departure of the Sussex couple to Canada. Installed on Vancouver Island for several weeks with their son Archie, Meghan Markle and Harry wanted – and most of all had to – get there. Because since they expressed their desire to set sail across the Atlantic, the relations between the two sons of Diana and Prince Charles seemed to stretch. And despite the denial that they published at the beginning of the year, the behavior they had towards each other today discredits them.
Radio silence between Harry and William
Meghan Markle, in a green robe and cap, and Harry have first took place in Westminster Abbey. It was only after them that Kate Middleton and William also made their debut. If the couples greeted each other politely in the enclosure of the religious monument, no exchange was then noted between the two brothers. Prince Edward and his wife Sophie Rhys-Jones, sitting behind Kate and William and right next to Meghan and Harry – and with whom the couples took turns – failed to relax the icy atmosphere that seemed to reign in the abbey. The looks were fleeting and the smiles tightened. A situation which unfortunately says a lot about the divide that the departure of Meghan and Harry caused in the monarchy…
