La Rioja will fine up to 600,000 euros to whom the isolation by coronavirus is skipped

The delegate of the Government in La Rioja, Maria Marrodan, has warned this Saturday that failure to comply with the home isolation measures imposed by the coronavirus can lead to an economic penalty of up to 600,000 euros.

Marrodan has made this statement during a press conference in which he has appeared with the Minister of Health of La Rioja, Sara Alba.

Both have alluded to the situation of the coronavirus epidemic in La Rioja and, specifically to what happens in Haro, where 31 of the 39 positive cases in the autonomous community are concentrated, “all with an identified and concrete focus ”

Due to this situation, different measures have been adopted, such as controlled access to the Haro health center and “strengthening the control of home isolation” of those affected, in collaboration with the security forces, specifically with patrols of the Haro Local Police and of the Civil Guard.

“It is important that each one exercise his particular responsibility,” continued the counselor, who highlighted the coordination with the Ministry of Health “from the first minute” and the collaboration with the mayors of Haro and Casalarreina, given that in this municipality , from the same region, resides one of those affected, who is admitted to a hospital in Miranda de Ebro (Burgos).
