FRANCE-IRAQ-OTAGES: The Elysee Palace announces the release of three French detainees in Iraq
PARIS (Reuters) – The Elysee Palace announced on Thursday the release of three French and one Iraqi, all employed by the SOS Chretiens d’Orient association.
The four men were kidnapped in Baghdad on January 20.
“The President of the Republic welcomes the release of our three compatriots Antoine Brochon, Julien Dittmar, Alexandre Goodarzy, and the Iraqi Tariq Mattoka,” said the press release from the presidency of the republic.
