Bogota, March 8 (EFE) .- The outrage at the wave of feminicides in Latin America, where it is estimated that more than 3,800 women are murdered every year for gender reasons, brought a strengthened feminist movement back to the streets on Sunday reached, as never before, mark the political and social agenda of the region. Although the historical claims for equity, legalization of abortion and greater political representation, as well as against harassment are maintained, stupor for femicide has been the predominant theme on this International Women’s Day and is expected to be in other mobilizations planned since Monday in the region, such as tomorrow’s strike under the slogan “A day without women.” IMAGES: SUPPORTS AND DECLARATIONS OF Editing and voice over: Maria Victoria Cardenas
