The 59-year-old director and showrunner shared his grief to learn of the death of Marc Engels, sound engineer on The Legends Office. “Loved by all“, he “recorded, from Ukraine to Morocco, the voice of all our actors, died in intensive care. 54 years old. This virus is filth and our pain is endless. Stay home“, wrote Eric Rochant on his Twitter account. Director Jerôme Salle (The Odyssey, Largo Winch II…) also published a tribute to the deceased Belgian sound engineer: “I now know that covid-19 kills not very old, healthy guys, and most importantly, mostly good guys. Like Marc“.

He also rubbed shoulders with the actor Pierre Niney, who embodied Philippe Cousteau, son of the Commander. The actor also paid tribute to Marc Engels on his Twitter account: “Marc Engels. Super sound engineer (Bureau of legends …) with whom we had traveled the world, up to Antarctica for the film “The Odyssey”, died today. Victim of the virus. He was 54 years old.
