The Ministry of Health has reported 565 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, up to a total of 20,043, and 4,499 infections, with which there are already 191,726 people who have been infected in our country since the beginning of the crisis. . In addition, Health has reported a total number of 74,662 cured, 3,166 more.
These are the first figures that Health publishes with the data provided by the autonomous communities according to the new criteria for notification of coronavirus cases established by the order published yesterday to achieve more effective management of information on the impact of COVID-19.
An order that urges communities to offer more detailed data and that, according to Health, “Not all can collect at the same time”, reason why the adaptation to the new criterion will take days and can generate an imbalance with respect to the series known until now of infected, deceased and cured.
The Community of Madrid has registered this Saturday 544 people less hospitalized and in ICU in 24 hours due to coronavirus, as indicated in vice president, Ignacio Aguado, on his social networks.
It has also reported that the number of cured today it has risen to 1,030, a total of 30,475 cured since the beginning of the health crisis. The number of hospitalized stands at 8,597.
La Rioja has added 152 new positives this Saturday, which means that 4,250 cases of COVID-1 have been reached9 confirmed accumulated since the beginning of the health crisis. In addition, 10 new deceased have been registered, bringing the number of people who have lost their lives to coronavirus to 272 people in our region.
For its part, Aragon has detected a total of 4,761 confirmed cases of coronavirus. Of the total, 2,180 have required hospitalization –243 in the ICU–, 1,121 have been discharged from hospital and there are 738 confirmed cases in healthcare professionals. A total of 601 affected have died.
Castilla-La Mancha has reported 352 new people infected by coronavirus this Saturday, which raises its figure to 16,349, and accumulates a total of 1,913 deaths from the disease, 61 more than in the last count on Friday, according to data offered to Europa Press by the Castilla-La Mancha Health Service.
The Basque Country has registered 28 new fatalities due to Covid-19 in the last hours, for which it has already reached 1,020 deaths. Likewise, there have been 266 confirmed new positives, bringing the number of infected people to 12,355. Of these, 1,076 are admitted.
