Since the start of the pandemic, a total of 9,237 deaths have been reported in our country, an increase of 25 deaths in the last 24 hours. Of the deaths in the past 24 hours, 15 have occurred in hospital, 10 in a nursing home. In this latter group, 90% was confirmed by a COVID-19 test.
Of the 9,237 people who died, 48% died in hospital, 51% in a nursing home, 0.2% at home and 0.5% elsewhere. Hospital deaths are all confirmed cases. The deaths which took place in nursing homes concern confirmed cases (24%) or suspected cases (76%).
