A few days before the deconfinement, eight French high school students are launching the #JeMeFaisDepister platform, a website intended to inform the general public about places that offer Covid-19 screening tests.
Know the types of Covid-19 tests and the screening centers available in France through a simple internet search. This is the objective of the #JeMeFaisDepister platform, designed by high school students and launched a few days before the deconfinement which will start on May 11 in mainland France.
At the origin of this project, David-Henri Bennaim, a 17-year-old high school student passionate about computers, quickly joined by seven of his friends. The project also benefits from the support of the international press relations agency Alexandra Public Relations, the accounting firm BAE, the digital communication agency About You & Co and the web hosting company Planet Hoster.
The site operates according to a proximity system: the internet user enters their postal address and can thus find out the list of screening centers located near their home. An advanced search will allow the user to select the type of establishment (public or private), to identify the places allowing to be screened with or without a prescription or even to find out about the types of tests offered (serological or PCR) .
“Each person will be able to join the laboratory of their choice and access regulatory tests. To meet the high demand that will follow deconfinement, our team enriches the platform by constantly referencing new places offering to test the general public “, specify the founders of the site.
The #JeMeFaisDepister platform is currently only available in France, but its creators plan to extend it quickly to other French-speaking countries.
