FRANCE-BEDOS-DECES: Death of actor Guy Bedos at the age of 85
PARIS (Reuters) – French comedian Guy Bedos is dead, his son Nicolas announced on his Instagram account on Thursday.
“He was handsome, he was funny, he was free and courageous. How proud I am to have had you as a father,” he wrote.
Aged 85, Guy Bedos was born in 1934 in Algeria, then French territory.
Comedian and comedian engaged on the left, he was a fervent supporter of François Mitterrand in the alternation of 1981 and a popular figure in television programs in the 1970s and 1980s.
In his long filmography appear in particular “An Elephant, it deceives enormously” and “We will all go to paradise” directed by Yves Robert and whose scripts are signed Jean-Loup Dabadie, who died last Sunday.
