First of the rope.
While Serie A clubs reaffirmed Friday their fierce desire to resume the current season, now the lyrics are followed by deeds. Sassuolo, followed closely by Bologna and Parma, announced on Saturday that he would reopen his training ground next week. These are the first Boots clubs to take this decision, which follows the green light given by the Emilia-Romagna region, where the three teams in question are located, against the advice of the Italian government.
Of course, there is no question of resuming training as before. Players will not have access to the changing rooms, showers or the weight room. They can only be six maximum per one hour slot, in the morning only, and each on a half-court. The technical staff will also not be present.
Telecommuting isn’t bad, after all.
