Simon Case, Prince William’s private secretary for two years, was offered a temporary mission which forced him to distance himself from the royal family for some time. The 41-year-old will work with the British government to prepare for the post-coronavirus era.

Prince William to leave Simon Case for an indefinite period. Indeed, whoever has been the Duke of Cambridge’s private secretary for two years has been given a leading role in Downing Street to help develop and implement government response to Covid-19. As reported by Hello!, the Prime Minister’s official spokesperson, however, clarified that once the mission entrusted has been accomplished, he could return to the kate middleton husband.

Boris Johnson’s official spokesperson said: “Simon Case works on the response to the coronavirus as permanent secretary and therefore temporarily leaves the royal house. The coronavirus is obviously an element on which members of the government are currently working a lot. In addition, Simon will report to the Secretary to the Cabinet, Sir Mark Sedwill. ”

A sacred career

Simon Case had the privilege of working for two years with the one who connects confidences on his three children George, Charlotte and Louis, but before that, he chained up prestigious collaborations. So he was David Cameron’s principal private secretary when he was Prime Minister, then his successor Theresa May between 2015 and 2017.

Before starting his mission for Prince William, in July 2018, he was Director General of Northern Ireland and of Ireland at the Ministry for the Exit from the EU. At only 41 years old, this Englishman can boast of having worked with older children.
