2 men injured in shooting in west Ottawa

The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a shooting that left two wounded late Monday on Boyce Avenue in the west. One of them is in serious condition.

At approximately 5:45 p.m., officers discovered two men, 23 and 34, who had been shot in the vicinity of 100 Boyce Avenue.

The two men are currently in hospital where one is described as seriously injured while the other is in stable condition“Can be read in the brief press release sent by the OPS.

Then, shortly after 9 p.m. last night, the police were called to the Ramsey Crescent, also in the west of the City, for other shots.

No one was injured this time, but police believe the incident was targeted.

The police gave little information on the incident, it is impossible to say for the moment if there is a link between the two shootings.
