The Municipal Guard of Score is working with the population to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus. From March 21 to June 17, agents have already carried out more than 14 thousand shares on the streets of the municipality of the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte. Establishments that failed to comply with the standards to combat the pandemic were also fined and fined.
Altogether 8,137 actions were carried out preventive which include leafleting, 70% gel alcohol distribution and masks for the population. The actions were carried out in commercial establishments, banks, lottery shops, churches and sanitary barriers in order to guide people regarding ways to protect themselves from the virus.
In addition, the guard also acts to inspect establishments that do not comply with the municipal decree or that have not made sanitary adaptations to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In the same period, agents closed 3,823 establishments among gyms, popular shopping malls, galleries, bars and restaurants that operated without a permit, or that were contributing to the gathering of people.
2,424 were recorded on the streets warnings with regard to the agglomeration of people on public roads, whether practicing physical activity or leisure, in places such as squares, soccer fields, bike paths and in the Várzea das Flores lagoon.
163 were applied fines in repeat offenders that did not comply with the municipal decree, or establishments that were not authorized to operate, as well as agglomerated people who did not want to follow the guards’ guidance.
There were also 16 prisons of owners of commercial establishments, banks, lotteries, churches, supermarkets, clubs that were operating in non-compliance with the municipal decree and showed resistance to close or remedy the action that went against the decree. * Intern under the supervision of sub-editor Frederico Teixeira
