They visited the café and restaurant employees of the self-help project “Homeboy Industries” in Los Angeles, which was founded by the Jesuit pastor and social worker Gregory Boyle, and worked hard to help.

Under the motto (and hashtag) “Feed Hope”, they helped to bake pasta and put together food packages. The project helps people in Los Angeles who don’t have enough food.
In a tweet the organization shared first pictures of the high visitor.
In another tweet said nobility expert Omid Scobie: “The organization is led by Gregory Boyle, with whom the Sussexes discuss the Racial justice movement have spoken. Meghan first met Father Boyle 20 years ago at a ‘Homeboy Industries’ cooking workshop (they were doing Tamales!), at the side of her mom Doriaafter working closely with Immaculate Heart High School & Middle School. ”

A spokesman said the couple felt a “deep connection” to the “Homeboy Industries” mission and thought it was a perfect example of how empathy, kindness, and compassion can change the world. Among other things, the organization offers advice, educational opportunities, legal aid, addiction support and more.
