The relaxation of the measures allows more people to kiss or shake hands outside their own homes, the University of Antwerp said on Tuesday through the results of its weekly survey on the experience of the coronavirus crisis.
The 11th part of the large study by the Antwerp on the coronavirus, carried out with 50,000 people, shows that 60% of the respondents still work exclusively at home.
One in five participants, aged 66 and over, said they retired during the crisis. It remains to be seen whether this choice has been accelerated by the current situation.
A large majority of young people (77%) feel that their opinion is not sufficiently taken into account. On Tuesday, the study will have a 12th component. The survey will then examine, among other things, vacation plans and reopening in the hotel industry.
