At a press conference this Friday morning, the president of the RFB Georges-Louis Bouchez announced the arrival on loan of the Union Saint-Gilloise striker, Roman Ferber.
Roman Ferber (27) is on loan from the Union Saint-Gilloise to the Francs-Borains, the club revealed at a press conference in the presence of Georges-Louis Bouchez, president of the RFB, and coach Dante Brogno.
“This is an important reinforcement which shows the ambition of the Francs-Borains and the will to make the supporters proud”, rejoices Georges-Louis Bouchez, new president of the club. “He refused several offers from major clubs, including Lierse. I thank him for making this choice, he knows the region for having played at RAEC Mons”.
Roman Ferber has played 19 games this season in D1B with the Union, for 2 goals and 2 assists. It is a reinforcement of experience for the Francs-Borains, newcomers to National 1 and who should further enlarge their nucleus a little, implied the president, specifying however that many would be young locals.
