Spain has registered this Friday 155 new cases of coronavirus, one less than those diagnosed this Thursday (156), with which there are already 243,209 total cases detected by PCR test, according to the latest balance released by the Ministry of Health.
One more day, Health continues without updating the daily death toll, which remains in total in 27,136, although it has reported 25 deaths in the last week.
Of the total daily infections, 155, almost half, 74, have been diagnosed in Madrid that, in addition, it has reported five of the deaths that occurred in a week, the same as Castilla y León —which has registered only two positives—, and two fewer than Asturias, which has registered four other infections. Catalonia, for its part, has confirmed 33 cases, but no deceased.
Also, the Health report this Friday includes 141 hospitalizations in the last seven days, 124,584 in total: five in Andalusia, 11 in Aragon, three in Asturias, three in the Canary Islands, two in Cantabria, twelve in Castilla-La Mancha, 17 in Castilla y León, 25 in Catalonia, eleven in the Valencian Community, one in Galicia , 42 in Madrid, one in Navarra, five in the Basque Country and three in La Rioja.
In this same period, 10 admissions in Intensive Care Units (ICU), bringing the figure since the start of the pandemic to 11,617 ICU admissions in total: one in Andalusia, one in Asturias, one in Cantabria, two in Castilla-La Mancha, one in Castilla y León, one in Catalonia, one in the Valencian Community and two in Madrid.
