The day when new measures come into force and the social bubble shrinks, the results of a study on the UAntwerp coronavirus, relayed by The last news, show that 48% of the participants had a bubble anyway, smaller than or equal to five people.
According to the study co-created by Professor Pierre Van Damme, of the 35,000 participants, 7% indicated that they had not taken into account the bubble of 15 people per week at all. Another three percent admitted they had a bubble of more than 15 people.
In addition, more than half of participants say they have to adapt their plans because of the new measures. This mainly concerns planned family celebrations which must be canceled.
57% have planned other social activities for the coming month, 84% are ready to cancel, while a small minority (2%) say they will not adapt.
