Health authorities confirmed 7,280 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, a new maximum recorded since the start of the pandemic.
In the cut of this July 9, Health reported that there is a total of 282,283 accumulated cases, of which 29,129 are active cases, which presented symptoms in the last 14 days and are mainly concentrated in Mexico City, State of Mexico , Guanajuato, Nuevo León and Veracruz.

It was also confirmed that 730 other people died from the disease caused by the virus; Since the start of the pandemic, the country has registered 33,526 positive deaths and another 2,283 deaths are on suspicion pending laboratory results.
The five entities with the most deaths are: Mexico City, State of Mexico, Baja California, Veracruz and Puebla.
