Switzerland registered 54 additional cases of coronavirus in 24 hours, announced Tuesday the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).
The FOPH reported 47 new cases on Monday, 70 on Sunday and 97 on Saturday. Last week, there were 134 cases Friday, 116 Thursday and 137 Wednesday. In total, Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein have counted 32,369 confirmed cases since the start of the crisis, including 694 in the past seven days. No new deaths were announced on Tuesday, the total being held at 1,686.
There were three new hospitalizations, the total being 4,061. As for the tests, 641,982 have been carried out since the start of the pandemic, of which 6% were positive. In 24 hours, the nursing staff carried out 5585 tests.
