After death threats, AMLO offers protection to Alfaro and Rosario Piedra (Millennium)
The Ministry of Public Function (SFP) announced an economic sanction and a disqualification against the company Cyber Robotics Solutions, owned by León Manuel Bartlett Álvarez, for irregularities in the acquisition of 20 fans.
In addition to the price premium in the purchase of the ventilators, the SFP assured that there was never an urgency for the IMSS delegation in Hidalgo to acquire the medical equipment, since they were delivered late, with failures and were never used in the entity.
“The supposed urgency to acquire the fans at the IMSS in Hidalgo had no basis during the dates of the contract. In fact, the equipment was never used in the entity, so the justification for ‘immediate delivery’ was unsustainable ”, resolved the Secretariat.
The agency pointed out to León Manuel Bartlett’s company to give false information about the supposed immediate availability of the awarded equipment and with “open non-compliance with the award bases.”
“Not a single one of the 20 teams delivered met the contracted technical specifications. Old, used and in poor condition equipment were delivered: 11 were broken and totally unusable, as the IMSS itself now recognizes, “he said.
According to the Public Function, after carrying out a verification visit on May 7, the IMSS “was forced to return the equipment to the supplier, which avoided property damage to the State”.
In addition, he said he was investigating possible administrative failures by public servants linked to the acquisition process, for which he ordered, as a precautionary measure, the “immediate suspension of four investigated public servants”, assigned to the IMSS Decentralized Administrative Operation Body in Hidalgo. .
“We inform that all the procedural stages of this administrative procedure have been completed and the corresponding sanctioning resolution will be issued soon,” he explained.
