A change of diet begins at the weekend. Holidaymakers should keep an eye on the weather.
The good weather regime is coming to an end. For several days, Quebec has been under the influence of an atmospheric pattern allowing the heat of the southern United States to rise. The exceptional heat wave that has been raging for more than ten days will also end on Saturday. Generous mercury with generally sunny weather will be a thing of the past.
The tropical depression Fay takes a trajectory which will lead it to Quebec on Saturday. This storm will pour good amounts of water, but it will also start a disturbed time sequence for the next few days.
A gray weekend is therefore to be expected, especially Saturday when the bulk of the precipitation will fall. Mercury will follow a downward trend, but note that humidity will still be present. The high feelings will still give an impression of heaviness.
Southern Quebec will receive a lot of rain, especially the large metropolitan area. Between 15 and 30 mm are expected, 50 mm are possible in places. Heavy rain is forecast for Saturday morning. The rain is expected to continue Sunday in Montreal.
For several days, holidaymakers have benefited from favorable weather. In fact, heat became an issue in some cases, but the sky was fearless. For the coming week, the situation changes considerably. The passage of depressions will make the weather uncertain and you will have to consult The Weather Network to plan your activities. Please note: Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Friday will be umbrella days.
