The golf legend Jack Nicklaus made an unexpected revelation this Sunday by sharing that his 80 years old both he and his wife Barbara were infected by COVID-19 and what turned out “Very lucky” for surviving the disease without major consequences despite belonging to a high risk group according to statistics.

During a television broadcast about the Memorial Tournament golf and that had the ‘Golden Bear’ as a special guest, Nicklaus related his experience with the coronavirus, which lasted just over a month, in which his life partner was asymptomaticwhile he had minor sore throat and cough.

“Barbara and I are the same age, both 80 years old, which is a risky age. Our hearts go out to the people who lost their lives and their families. We were just a couple of lucky“Confessed the legendary golfer.

Jack Nicklaus, along with Arnold Palmer y Tiger Woods is considered one of the best golf players of all time, with more than 100 titles on the professional tour, including 18 majors tournaments, in just over 25 years of dominance.
