Mircea Lucescu is no longer the coach of Dynamo Kiev. Officially presented just four days ago by the club from the Ukrainian capital, the Romanian coach did not resist the pressure from Dynamo supporters.

The reason for this anti-Lucescu sling in Kiev? The Romanian coached, and won, for 12 years with rival club Shakhtar Donetsk. “It is impossible for me to get involved in a hostile atmosphere, organized by Ultras groups. (…) I cannot accept that the supporters of my club act against the interests of this one,” said briefly Mircea Lucescu to explain his departure.

And yet, Mircea Lucescu is not at his first attempt: in Turkey (Galatasaray, Besiktas) and Romania (Rapid and Dinamo Bucharest), the Romanian had also gone through rival clubs, but he affirms it: he had never received such a deleterious welcome as that reserved by the Ultras of Dynamo Kiev …
