The goal of the Spanish driver is now to be back on August 9, for the third round of the 2020 championship, in Brno.
MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez, victim of a frightening fall on Sunday four laps from the end of the Spanish GP, in Jerez de la Frontera, underwent successful surgery on Tuesday morning in Barcelona. The triple fracture of his right humerus was reduced, a plate was placed. The radial nerve is not affected. This was the great concern of the Marquez clan, as such a complication would have required an additional break of several weeks.
The goal of the Spanish driver is now to be back on August 9, for the third round of the 2020 championship, in Brno (Czech Republic). His main opponents for the title will therefore only have one race – Sunday, the Andalusian GP – to “take advantage” of his absence and accumulate as many points as possible.
