Health authorities recorded 639 deaths from COVID-19 this Thursday, for a total of 46 thousand so far in the epidemic.

They also reported the registration of 7,730 new cases of the disease, which is why Mexico accumulates 416,179 people who have tested positive for the laboratory test.

In addition, there are still 90 thousand 582 people considered suspects who still have to wait for laboratory results.

When showing the estimates of confirmed cases, 458 thousand 688, of which 11% would be active cases, Health authorities assured in daily conference that in the last two weeks they see a decrease of 1%.

Comparison of figures between week 28 and 29 of the epidemic also showed a 15% increase in recoveries, for a total of 272,187, and a 40% reduction in deaths.

However, they also show an estimate of 47 thousand 910 deaths for week 30.

Nationwide, 53% of general hospital beds are available and 47% occupied; Nayarit is the state with the highest occupation in this field with 76%.

Regarding beds with fans, 62% are available and 38% occupied; Nuevo León tops the list of states with a percentage of 65%.
