Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) was the fastest in the second free practice session of the Hungarian Grand Prix on Friday. The German driver outstripped Mercedes Valtteri Bottas (+0.272) and McLaren by Carlos Sainz (+1.320) on the Hungaroring circuit.
Winner of the first free practice session on Friday morning, Lewis Hamilton did not take part in the second session because of the rain falling on the circuit.
Eighth in the first session, Max Verstappen (Red Bull) this time placed seventh at 2,356 seconds from Vettel. Leclerc, Vettel’s teammate at Ferrari, finished in tenth place (+3.261).
The third and last free practice session is scheduled for Saturday between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. Qualifications are set between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
The start of the Hungarian Grand Prix, the 3rd round of the 2020 world championship, will be given on Sunday at 3.10 p.m.
