THE Twitter said on Saturday 18 that hackers managed to download information from up to eight accounts involved in the intrusion into your system this week, but none of them were verified. The company also said, in a publication on its official blog, that the hackers targeted 130 accounts. They were able to reset passwords, take control and tweet through 45 of them.

Hackers accessed Twitter’s internal systems to hijack some of the platform’s most influential voices, like U.S. presidential candidate Joe Biden, television star Kim Kardashian, former US President Barack Obama and billionaire Elon Musk, and use them to order digital currencies.

Public records show that scammers received more than $ 100,000 in cryptocurrencies. Famous accounts that have been hacked also include rapper Kanye West, Amazon founder Jeff Bezzos, investor Warren Buffet, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, and Uber and Apple corporate accounts.

In its latest statement, Twitter said that hackers “manipulated a small number of employees” to gain access to the internal support tools used in the attack. The company also said it was restricting some of the details of the attack while continuing to investigate and reiterated that it works with the account owners involved.
