The Government of Quebec is providing financial assistance of $ 2.2 million to the Municipality of Val-des-Monts. A sum dedicated to improving and developing the road network. Buckingham and Sauvé roads could thus be redone.

Mr. Laurin explains that the funding will be used to almost completely rebuild 3.5 kilometers of road. He specifies that this is a serious repair of the road.

In the last budget of the Quebec government, the amounts allocated to the municipal network through the Local road assistance program were also increased by $ 310 million.
