Booker scores 35 points and Suns remain unbeaten in five games

Moh Ahmed shatters Canadian 5000m record by nearly six seconds

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. –Devin Booker wowed with 35 points and the Phoenix Suns continued to wow in the bubble, beating the Miami Heat 119-112 on Saturday.

Booker capped his night with a stride shot giving his team a 117-112 lead with 12 seconds on the clock.

The Suns are 5-0 at Disney, the worst record in the West among the clubs in the revival.

Phoenix came close to two games for the Memphis Grizzlies, currently eighth-seeded.

The Portland Trail Blazers sit between the Suns and the Grizzlies.

If Team 8 has four games or less cushion, at the end of the ranking matches, they will have to do battle with Team 9. The eighth-place team would seal a playoff spot with a gain; for the ninth-place team, it would take two in two games.

Jevon Carter had 20 points, his best game of the season. He made no less than six three-pointers in eight attempts.

Ricky Rubio provided seven points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. Deandre Ayton added 18 points and 12 rebounds.

The Suns are now turning their attention to the Thunder, their rivals on Monday (2:30 p.m., Sportsnet).
