A pilot had to cancel the landing approach to Munich Airport. The incomprehensible reason: Two apparently drunk sisters (26.27) from Innsbruck rioted on the plane – and harassed a severely disabled woman like that BR reported.

The attacks occurred last Wednesday (July 29) on a flight from Turkey to Munich at around 8 p.m. The Austrians felt disturbed by the severely disabled passenger (55) a row behind them.
According to the police, they threatened the 55-year-old and her 52-year-old supervisor from the Augsburg district. They also threw them cutlery and a cell phone at them.

The pilot then stopped the approach for safety reasons. The plane twisted two unscheduled loops over the airport until the cabin crew overwhelmed the two women. They were arrested after landing.
The Austrians are now facing, among other things, procedures for bodily harm and dangerous interference in air traffic. (sp)
