Nearly 150 new cases of COVID-19 in Quebec

Quebec has registered 146 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, the health ministry said on Saturday.

The total number of people infected since the start of the pandemic has now reached 59,458.

Four deaths that occurred before July 24 are also added to the toll, bringing the number of people who died from the disease to 5,678.

The number of hospitalizations has fallen by 12. Of the 177 people hospitalized, 18 are in intensive care (+3).

On July 30, 18,437 samples and 17,994 analyzes were carried out, indicate data from Quebec.
