None of the big cities in Quebec has registered any yet … Usually, we still have a few weeks ahead of us before Sept-Îles notices any. In fact, on average, it is the first large city in Quebec to know about it, around September 15.

Regarding the record for the earliest frost for the most important cities of Quebec, it is Val-d’Or which wins the palm: on August 6, 1964, the city had known temperatures so low that frost had been provoked.
