The Warriors complete their first half of the season with a record of six wins and five losses.

The Guerriers divided the honors of the double program opposing them to the Cards de LaSalle on Saturday in Lachine. After losing 5-4 in the first game, they won … 15-1 in the second.

The Granbyens have scored no less than 62 points in their last four games. True that they sometimes take advantage of the largesse of opposing pitchers, but still.

In the second game on Saturday, the Warriors hit 14 hits.

Marc-Antoine Lefebvre allowed himself another dream night, producing seven points with four hits, including two homers. Gabriel Laroche and Xavier Bégin produced two points each.

Thomas Sansregret (1-1) was the winning pitcher, he who did not allow any points in four innings of work.

“We encountered a lot of adversity in the first game facing a pitcher (Justin Humenay) who was dominant, explained manager Mathieu Adam, who suffered his first loss with the Warriors. But the guys then showed character by coming back very strong in the second. I liked what I saw tonight and clearly liked what I saw from my team this week. ”

Samuel Archambault had hit two hits in the first game. Félix Dubeau-Hervieux (1-2) was the losing pitcher after conceding four points, all deserved, in two innings and a third.

The Warriors completed their first half of the shortened campaign on Saturday with a record of six wins and five losses. They will host the Coaticook Rocket on Tuesday evening at the Stade Napoléon-Fontaine.
