Three Guinean men have been injured in a racist-motivated attack in the German city of Erfurt, in the east of the country, as reported by the Police.
One of them has been seriously injured and has been in “critical” condition after the attack, which occurred during Saturday morning in a housing development located in the southeast of the city.
The Police have detained twelve suspects in the event, which they have described as “xenophobic attack“and that took place in the vicinity of a meeting place of different far-right groups.
All three victims have had to be treated in hospital, although authorities do not yet know if weapons were used during the attack. The Prosecutor’s Office is investigating what happened.
