One of the consequences that the coronavirus pandemic has brought to the world of books has been the inability to carry out face-to-face activities around the industry, such as fairs or launches.
Given this, most publishers – especially independent ones – have had to reinvent themselves around digital. Both with regard to sales and events of the book chain.
Thus, the publishing house La Pollera Ediciones announced that this Thursday, August 13 at 6:00 p.m., it will present the book All guilt is a mystery. Mystical and Religious Anthology of Gabriela Mistral, by researcher Diego del Pozo, perhaps one of the Chilean experts on the work of the poet from Vicuña.
The event, of course, will be held online, through Facebook Live in the accounts of the Gabriela Mistral Museum of Vicuña, and the Gabriela Mistral Regional Library, both located in the fourth region.
Along with the author, will be the writer and editor Simón Ergas.
The book is basically a selection where speeches, columns and interviews are compiled in which Mistral talks about Christianity from a social perspective, in addition to gathering mystical writings rescued from his notebooks.
