In the inspections conducted in Bodrum, it was determined that the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) measures were not complied with, 3 businesses serving such as restaurants, bars and beaches were suspended indefinitely, and 2 businesses were suspended for 4 days.

According to the decision of the Bodrum Sanitation Council, it was determined that working with a restaurant-cafe license in Yalıkavak and Çarşı Neighborhood, did not comply with Kovid-19 measures such as hygiene, cleaning, masks, social distance and acted as a nightclub, bar or beach club contrary to the license. Under the coordination of Bodrum Governorship, the Police Department and Bodrum Municipality teams took action. While the activities of 3 businesses continuing their activities contrary to the license without considering the warnings at the addresses determined to be violating the rules were suspended indefinitely, the activities of 2 businesses were suspended for 4 days.

BUSINESS EMPLOYEES MEET WITH THE DISTRICT

Workers operating in the district and working in bars that were closed indefinitely came to the Bodrum District Governorship and expressed their grievances.After waiting for a while in front of the Bodrum District Governorship, the group gathered, the representatives elected among them stated that they were victims of Bodrum District Governor Bekir Yılmaz and experienced economic problems. The group representatives, who explained the reasons for the places closed by the district governor Yılmaz, left the district governorship without incident.

In the meantime, it was learned that Bodrum Municipality will make a press release to express the grievances of the business owners and employees at the September Municipal Council meeting.

In the district, 22 businesses operated such as restaurants, cafeterias, bars and discotheques, which were previously determined to not comply with coronavirus measures, were sealed indefinitely. With the last decision taken, the operations of 27 businesses in Bodrum were suspended indefinitely.
