A Chamber of Deputies approved a financial aid of R $ 1.6 billion to the sports area due to the pandemic of the new coronavirus. The text, already approved by the Senate, now goes to the President for sanction Jair Bolsonaro. The project grants emergency aid in three monthly installments of R $ 600, in the same rules as the other beneficiaries of this program. The term may be extended – now the government foresees, in general, three more installments of this aid, in the amount of R $ 300.
To receive the value, you must be over 18 years of age, except in the case of athletes or parathletes with a minimum age of 14 years linked to a sporting entity or a national sport administration entity.
The beneficiary must also have worked professionally or non-professionally in the sports field within the 24 months immediately preceding the date of publication of the law. The beneficiary cannot be employed and cannot hold a social security or assistance benefit, such as Bolsa Família, among other rules.
The proposal considers as autonomous physical education professionals those linked to a sports entity, technicians, physical trainers, physiotherapists and other workers in the sector. The text was reported by deputy Alexandre Frota (PSDB-SP).
