(ANSA) – CAGLIARI, 16 SEPT – The landings of migrants in Sardinia from North Africa do not stop. During the night 28 Algerians arrived and among them a pregnant woman. The first landing took place shortly after 8 pm in Su Giudeo in Domus De Maria. Four newly arrived migrants were moving away from the beach but were blocked by the carabinieri. The second landing took place shortly after midnight along the beach of Porto Pino, in the Municipality of Sant’Anna Arresi. Some citizens saw 14 people go away and called the carabinieri. The soldiers of the Giba Station arrived on the spot and blocked 14 Algerians and among them the pregnant woman. The last landing took place in Teualada, at Capo Malfatano, where ten Algerians landed. All the foreigners have been transferred to the first reception center in Monastir (Cagliari) where, after being identified and visited, they will remain in quarantine. (HANDLE).
