Horrible Flixbus crash in Germany: According to the police, at least 31 people were injured in a serious long-distance bus accident on the A24 near Wöbbelin in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania on early Saturday morning, September 12th.

So far there are no tangible details on the cause of the accident. However, it may be the driver’s microsleep, said a police spokesman. Three people suffered serious injuries, but their lives were not in danger.
The bus went off the road in the direction of Hamburg between the Wöbbelin and Hagenow junctions and drove into a ditch. There were no more details about the injured. The accident happened at 5:45 a.m., the spokesman said. Flixbus has only confirmed three injured people so far.
The spokesman said that passengers of different nationalities had been sitting in the vehicle. All occupants of the bus, according to Flixbus 30 passengers and 2 drivers, came to hospitals as a precaution. “We can confirm that the driving and rest times have been observed,” said a Flixbus spokesman. The bus was on the way between Prague and Hamburg.
Where is Wobbelin?
