Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente rescheduled its next two matches of the MX League of the 2020 Guardians Tournament, after adding 30 positive cases of COVID-19.

According to a statement, there are 14 players on the team and 16 members of the coaching and staff.

The Club explained that the game against FC Juárez, scheduled for this Monday at the Caliente stadium, was changed for next September 30 at 5 in the afternoon.

Just last Wednesday, Liga MX announced a first change of date for that same match, from Friday 18 to Monday 21, pending the results of the COVID tests made to players and team staff.

Today Xolos confirmed, through his Twitter account, the results of these studies and reported that the 30 positive cases are already isolated and supervised by medical staff at the campus.

They also indicated that the match against Santos Laguna, scheduled for next week in Torreón, Coahuila, will also be rescheduled.

However, they have not yet confirmed the new date and time when it will take place.

Last weekend, Xolos played with four player casualties due to coronavirus positives and received remotely the technical direction of Pablo Guede and his assistants for the same reason.
