The closing and award ceremony of the festival, which was organized for the 57th time this year with the contributions of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, hosted by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, was held in an open area called “1 Under the Stars”, which was established next to the Glass Pyramid within the scope of the new type of coronavirus (Kovid-19) measures.

In the ceremony area, the fire of the guests was measured and a mask was requested. In the area where disinfectants were placed at the entrance, the guests were seated at a distance.

In the night hosted by Şevval Sam and Yekta Kopan, a section of the speech made by the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Muhittin Böcek, who was treated in the intensive care unit with the diagnosis of Kovid-19 at Akdeniz University Hospital, was watched at the ceremony last year.

Mehmet Hacıarifoğlu, Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality, thanked those who contributed to the festival that has been going on for 57 years and wished that Böcek will be healthy as soon as possible.

THE BEST FILM OF GOLDEN ORANGE “GHOSTS”

The Best Film Award at the festival was given to the film “Ghosts” directed by Azra Deniz Okyay and produced by Dilek Aydın.

Okyay, who received the award, said that he made a very different and colorful movie. Expressing that he grew up with these differences, Okyay noted that he reflected the people around him to the film.

Dilek Aydın said that they made a difference with the film and stated that she received the award for all women.

BEST WOMEN PLAYER AWARDED WITH 5 PLAYERS

The Best Actress award of the festival was given to 5 actresses. Tuğçe Yolcu, Süreyya Kilimci, Elif Ürse, Gülçin Kültür Şahin and Canan Atalay, who starred in the movie “The Crack” shared the award.

Gülçin Kültür Şahin stated that she has been dreaming of giving a speech on such a stage since she was 10 years old and expressed her excitement.

AHMET MÜMTAZ TAYLAN’S BEST MALE PLAYER AWARD

The Best Actor award of the festival was given to Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan for his role in the movie “Gelincik”.

Thanking everyone for the award, Taylan said, “I am old enough to know how valuable it is.” said.

Stating that cinema, television, music and theater workers have great difficulties, Taylan stated that more budget should be allocated to culture and arts.
