In the fifth week of the course, from October 5 to 8, of the almost 47,000 groups that Valencian schools and institutes have supported with public funds, 99.3% have followed the face-to-face classes without any incident having occurred. Therefore, of the 1,845 educational centers that make up the Valencian educational system, 87.9% have completed the fifth week of the course without any partially or totally confined classroom.
These data are extracted from the determination of new groups confined during the fifth week of the course, groups that remain partially or totally confined from previous weeks and groups that have already become unconfined. In the fifth week of the course, the confinement of 144 groups of 80 educational centers has been determined, 177 groups of 119 educational centers have been disconfined and 196 groups of 143 educational centers remain confined from other weeks. Therefore, the total number of confined groups, totally or partially, at the end of the fifth week of the course has been 340 groups from 223 educational centers.
By region, 85.6% of the 638 educational centers in Alicante do not have any confined groups. There are 92 educational centers in Alicante that have 136 confined groups and, therefore, 99.2% of the nearly 16,700 groups in these regions are receiving face-to-face classes with total normality.

In the regions of Castellón, 87.9% of the 249 educational centers do not have any confined group. In this case, it is students from 61 groups of 30 centers who have had to confine themselves. This means that 98.9% of the more than 6,000 groups in these regions are giving face-to-face classes without any problem.
Throughout the fifth week of the course, in the regions of Castellón the confinement of 41 groups of 16 educational centers has been determined, 14 groups of 10 educational centers have been deconfined and 20 groups of 14 centers remain confined from previous weeks educational.

During the fifth week of the academic year, in the regions of Valencia the confinement of 61 groups of 40 educational centers has been determined, 84 groups of 60 educational centers have been unconfined and 82 groups of 61 educational centers remain confined for other weeks.
These data demonstrate that Valencian educational centers are detectors of contagion cases, rather than contagion spaces, thanks to the security, prevention and protection measures established in Valencian educational centers from the beginning of the course.
