The Spanish Laura Salvo died on Saturday following an accident on a rally in Portugal.
The world of motorsport, and Spain, is in mourning. Laura Salvo, 21, died on Saturday morning during the Rallye Vidreiro Centro de Portugal.
According to the official press release from the organizers, the co-pilot of Miquel Socias was killed after going off the road during the first special. The care services tried to revive the young woman, in vain.
“We would like to express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of co-driver Laura Salvo,” Peugeot Sport wrote on his Twitter page.
On social networks, several sportsmen or Spanish clubs, also paid tribute to the young woman.
