The 2020 edition of the Tokyo Game Show had to be canceled because of the Covid-19. We still had the right to an online show from September 23 to 27. We now know that this event still managed to accumulate more than 30 million views as follows:

So what will happen to the 2021 edition? Well it looks like the Tokyo Game Show will be back on the outskirts of Tokyo from Thursday, September 30, 2021 until Sunday, October 3.
TGS 2020 notably allowed us to see more of Resident Evil Village, to learn that a live-action Yakuza film was in the works and to know that Animal Crossing: New Horizons was their game of the year.
