An innovative hotel opens in the heart of Dolomiti Superski

Now it’s just a short distance away: on 28 November the 2020-2021 ski season of Dolomiti Superski will be officially inaugurated, one of the most beautiful and largest ski areas in the world, with 1,200 kilometers of slopes, 12 ski areas, and a natural environment included in the Unesco Heritage.

The health emergency involved all forms of tourism, but Dolomiti Superski is starting again in the name of safety and rebirth with the motto “We care about you”. It is not a simple slogan, but the certainty that the next ski season will be all about peace and safety for everyone.

From mid-November it will be possible to buy online all types of seasonal ski passes that can be loaded directly onto your MyDolomiti Skicard.

On November 19, the new Falkensteiner Hotel Kronplatz opens in the heart of Dolomiti Superski, in Plan de Corones, a prestigious hotel designed by Matteo Thun, where the innovative figure of the Experience Concierge will be present with a whole series of exclusive experiences for guests (photos of the report are by IDM SudtirolHarald Wisthaler).

Among the proposals there is: the panoramic ride inside an exclusive gondola where it will be possible to taste typical products; a tandem flight on a paraglider landing in front of the hotel; a helicopter ride with breathtaking mountain views; a hot air balloon flight.

On the slopes, the hotel will also offer a tasting of local wines together with former professional skier Christian Heinz. There will be other tastings in the huts and visits to museums built on Plan de Corones, such as the Messner Mountain Museum at an altitude of 2,275 meters.

To try, the SPA area with the bio-sauna, the yoga room, the wellness center on 3 floors, the hammam, the swimming pool, the solarium.

The cuisine of the 7summit restaurant offers traditional and innovative South Tyrolean dishes, but also forays into Japanese, South American and even Alaskan cuisines.
