In BOLU, the Ankara direction between TEM Highway Kaynaşlı-Abant Junction, which was closed to vehicle traffic 3 days ago due to joint renewal work, was temporarily opened to light vehicles due to the weekend density. Heavy vehicles that were not allowed to cross from both sides of TEM were directed to the D-100 Highway. In Bolu, the highway was closed to vehicle traffic on October 14 due to the joint renewal works in the viaducts located between the TEM Highway Ankara direction Kaynaşlı-Abant Junctions. After the highway was closed, vehicles were directed from Kaynaşlı toll booths to the D-100 Highway. Vehicles using the Bolu Mountain section of the D-100 Highway were reconnected to TEM from Abant toll booths. With the closure of TEM’s Ankara direction to traffic, there was a vehicle density in the D-100 Highway Bolu Mountain section for 3 days.
TRAFFIC IS PROVIDED DOUBLE-SIDED FROM ISTANBUL Due to the increase in vehicle density due to the weekend, light vehicles are allowed to enter TEM from Kaynaşlı tolls in the morning. For drivers who want to go to the Ankara direction, the TEM’s Istanbul direction was opened in two directions. When the vehicles arrived at the Bolu Mountain Tunnel location, they were able to continue on their way through the Ankara lane. Heavy vehicles, on the other hand, were directed to the D-100 Highway by police teams at the Kaynaslı and Abant intersections. In order to avoid any traffic disruptions on the route, many traffic police and highway personnel are on duty.
